Early birds collect prizes at Margate CC
Rain affected play and boy, was it chilly last Saturday.
PETER Hunter, Steve Harmse and Otto Mutschler won the Wobblers game at Margate Country Club last Wednesday on 92 points.
Runners-up on 88 points were Freddie Boshoff, Johan Holshof and Hans Dallinger.
One behind them were Eddie Gommersall, Cyril Greensmith and Dave Boyd on 87 points.

The Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to the Gibson gang, namely John, Mark and Russel.
Charlie Hartman won last Thursday’s individual Stableford on 40 points, counting out Fanie Terblanche.
Eddie Davies was just a point adrift on 39 points.
Nearest pins were won by John Crewe (4th) and Johan Stoltz (16th).
Dolf Willemse and Graeme Massam won last Saturday’s competition on 47 points, by five from Rob Weyer and Mike Lee who had 42 points.
Most of the competition was rained out, so the early birds collected prizes.
