The Dischem Margate Week starts on Monday (29th) and finishes on May 3.

Margate Show takes place tonight (25th) at 6pm.

The KBA men’s and women’s finals will take place today (25th)

The Halfway Ford open 2-4-2 takes place this Friday (26th) at 1.30pm, with the KBA Novices on Saturday and Sunday.

THE BELL

Fruit and Veg City nominated mixed 2-4-2 winners were Willy Knott and Brett(eny) Pollington, from Phil Viljoen and Marie Pick.

Session prize to Sharolyn Dacey and Steve O’Moore.

Previous week’s mixed trips, sponsored by Jaxx Restaurant, were won by Peet and Susan van Rooyen and Pat Maggs.

Runners-up were Louw Vermeulen, Michelle Vermeulen and Kevin Mullen.

Session to Renzo van Niekerk, Hew Hodgson and Phil Viljoen.

MUNSTER

Wick Inn winner was Barbara Corbett but she was not in attendance so R150 carries over to next draw.

Fun bowls winners were Sergio Ruperto, from Karen Botha, with Eileen van der Lith in third.

30-club draw bring and braai is Saturday, May 4.

SOUTHBROOM

Tiago men’s trips winners were Brian Douthwaite, Martiens Olivier and Bill Reed.

Runners-up were Alan Tyers, Clive Bignell and Ken Hills.

First session to Steve Rennie, Aubrey Hood and John Keppler; second session to Vernon Clements, Brent Addison and Glenn Hatfield.

BANNERS REST

Cow Shed mixed trips winners were John Keppler, Steve Rennie and Leonie Bloem, with runners-up Brian Cole-Cook, Amelia Pieterse and Amy Körner.

Second session went to Anthony Card, Sergio Ruperto and Denise de Witt, and the 50/50 board to Anthony Card.

Next sponsored competition is the GP Security mixed pairs on Tuesday (30th).

PORT EDWARD

Cowshed Pro 10 mixed trips was won by Jokkie and Marianne van Buuren with Ken Simm.

Runners up were Joe Ashworth, Glen Allen and Anne Macalister.

Session prize went to George Choramanski, Anne Wells and Shelley Backhouse.

No social tabs in bowls on this Saturday (27th) due to KBA Novices competition.

VILLAGE

Martins Electronics men’s 2-4-2 was won by Denzil Massyn and Gary Hess, from Roy Robertson and Bill Parfitt.

Session winners were Dereck Schorn and Carl Volker, as well as Hein Bester and Vernon Clements.
