Young riders on track for more success

It's good to see young riders starting to feature on the podium.

A NUMBER of South Coast cyclists have enjoyed taking part in competitive races of late,.

The popular aQuelle Tour Durban took place recently, with the route having to be adjusted due to protest action on the M19 freeway.

Despite the changes, the race was still enjoyable and the team had a good morning out on their bikes.

Lionel Wentzel is showing promise and came 11th in his age group, 42nd overall and second in A Batch.

The race started and ended at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

On the same weekend, some of the local MTB riders took part in the Husqvarna Classic in Mid-Illovo.
