Calling all pool lovers to chalk up
Manhattan Pool Club recently held a fundraising tournament and there was a good turnout.
THE KwaZulu-Natal Open Sub Region Winter Classic 8-ball pool tournament is set to take place at Manhattans Pool Club in Marburg from July 1 to 10.
Entry fee is R50 per event, namely singles, scotch doubles and 5-man team.

Manhattan Pool Club recently hosted a fundraising tournament and there was a good turnout.
Winners of the singles from the two different heats were Kuben Govender and Keegan Reddy.
There was a scotch doubles exhibition won by Ivan Naidoo and Terence Chetty, beating Kuben and Keegan in a thriller, 4-3.
Thanks were extended to Ivan, as well as Bobby Govender for meals provided, and to Reevak Ramlall for coordinating the event and Keegan for sponsoring trophies.
It raised about R2000 which will be used for juniors that will be going to nationals later this year.
