Tennis showdown time at Tweni
Next Saturday will see the rest of the finals being played followed by a bring-and-braai.
The championships at Umtentweni Tennis Club have progressed very well and this Saturday the finals of the men’s and women’s singles will be played starting at 12pm.
David van Tichelen takes on Tisch Roos in the men’s singles and Chantelle Donald and Sally Pillay will fight it out in the women’s singles.

These matches will be followed by a mixed doubles match where George van der Merwe and Heloise Cloete play Gerald Bunge and Trish Wood.

A special word of thanks goes to Gloria and Mervyn Tarboton who provided the eats last week for their daughter who was away for the weekend.
Members who pay their subs half-yearly are reminded that the second half is due on July 1 so please get them in to Isabeau le Roux asap. The club cannot run efficiently without your co-operation.
