Warriors wobble against Westville
It was not the result the local rugby team was looking for.
RIVERSMEAD South Coast Warriors came unstuck against Westville Old Boys away last Saturday, losing 26-10.
Chris Mitchell put it down to an ‘off day’ which can happen to all teams.

The Warriors were without some of their regulars, which never helps.
Men of the match were Mitchell (forwards) and Donovan Horne (backline).
The two teams have great mutual respect for one another and this game was crucial in deciding who will win the First Division league.
It seems the Warriors will now need the rugby gods to do them a favour.
It was a physical game, with the big forward packs from each team hitting each other hard.
The Warriors had the lead at half-time, 10-5, but couldn’t quite hang on to it.
It was close for most of the game, with Westville only closing it out fully in the last five minutes or so.
The Warriors wasn’t helped by what various injuries to the team.
They will now have to lick their wounds and focus on what lies ahead, with a home game against Ballito at Douglas Mitchell this Saturday (20th).
One highlight of the day amidst the doom was meeting Springbok prop Vincent Koch.
