South Coast Warriors continued their rampant start to the rugby season with a 44-0 win over Harlequins at Douglas Mitchell Sports Ground last Saturday.
They ran in eight tries with just two of these being converted.
The second team had even more success, winning 55-0, scoring nine tries and slotting five conversions.
There will be tougher games ahead but Warriors certainly appear to be the team to beat in the First Division South League.
The next day, it was a long haul to Pietermaritzburg for South Coast Warriors playing mini rugby players.
The venue for the day was Merchiston Prep, with the U11, U9 and U7 teams involved.
The U11s won their game convincingly against Harlequins, scoring eight tries and conceding one for a final score of 50-5.
It was a real team effort, with all players making a contribution. The first half was especially impressive, with six tries scored.
The U9s won one and lost one, while the U7s went down in both their games.
Club chairman Niko Potgieter said the limited numbers made it a tough day on the field for the younger teams, but that they held their heads high and played their hearts out.
