Warriors continue winning ways

First team points were scored by Tiamo Mjali (2), Tiaan van Staden (2), Marchell Sass, Xhanti Wakie, Jaun Buitendag, Westley Nyman and Glen-Lihn Tromp, who also slotted two conversions.

It was quite a weekend for the five South Coast Warriors rugby teams, winning all seven games on offer.
Overall, the youngest player on the weekend was five, the oldest 43.

For a start, the firsts and seconds ran out easy winners against Pietermaritzburg Rugby Club, away.
Warriors first won 49-12 with the seconds winning 43-5.

It ended the first team’s clean sheet, but it hardly mattered considering the brand of rugby they are playing.

First team points were scored by Tiamo Mjali (2), Tiaan van Staden (2), Marchell Sass, Xhanti Wakie, Jaun Buitendag, Westley Nyman and Glen-Lihn Tromp, who also slotted two conversions.

Second team points were scored by Jaques Petzer-Moore (3), Mpumelelo Dladla, Graeme Bester, Leyakheka Nyamfa and Sisanda Radebe.

There were three conversions for Jaundré Michau and one for Petzer-Moore.
A day later, at Harlequins, the U7s won twice, as did the U9s.

The U11s held on for a tight win, 19-14, against Crusaders (blue) in by far their toughest encounter, both on and off the field.
