Comfortable win for Clyde and Russel
KWV will be sponsoring the January monthly medal this weekend.
I’m afraid the alter ego of St. Clement, ‘In Clement’, the patron saint of the weather got the best of us as the rain came down in buckets last Wednesday.
Fortunately, by Saturday the course was fit for play with Halfway Toyota, the sponsors for a Combined Stableford, thanks to Leandra, Russel and the guys in Park Rynie.
Combining well were Halfway representative Russel Freeman with Clyde Leisagang who amassed 62 points for a comfortable win.
Brian Richards and Wayne Simpson who are usually together managed second place. Hilton McAuliffe and Laighn Moolman followed in third place on 58.
Doc Mahabeer and Wayne Simpson got 2 clubs but the hidden holes are still drying out with Rob Newton and Kyle Evans left holding Stone Last.
On Saturday KWV will be sponsoring the January monthly medal.
