Become a parkrunner
Participants can bring along friends, family members (including children) or take on the run by themselves.
Parkruns are all about keeping fit and healthy while bringing people together, and this is exactly what is being achieved by the East Coast Brewery parkrun every Saturday at 08:00.
The run is held in the forecourt of the East Coast Brewing Company in Ilfracombe, and the organisers want as many people as possible to feel part of a local community brought together by these events, as well as their global parkrun family.
Participants can bring along friends and family members (including children) or take on the run by themselves. It is also a great social setting to mingle. Spectators are welcome, too!
Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed as it is held on a private farm.
Registration is free, and once off, whether you intend to walk, jog, run, or volunteer – or do a combination of all.
Simply complete the registration on www.parkrun.co.za. Once you have registered, you will be emailed a unique parkrun barcode with your personal ID that allows you to keep track of your parkrun participation.
You need to take your barcode with you when you attend parkrun. You can reuse the same barcode every week at any parkrun event anywhere in the world.
The East Coast Brewery parkrun has had many visitors, both national and international.
The restaurant has also re-opened its doors on Saturdays from 07:00 to 11:00 to accommodate participants and visitors.
