Surfer Heather Clark ‘super stoked’ about silver win at World Masters

The South African team did the country proud by placing seventh.

Heather Clark won a silver in the 2024 Surf City El Salvador ISA World Masters Surfing Championship.

Clark said she was stoked at securing a podium finish.

The South African team, consisting of Heather Clark, Tyrell Johnson, Tash Mentasti and Gary Van Wieringen, placed seventh overall, out of 28 teams.

“Amazing event, amazing experience! We had waves every single day during the entire contest from start to finish. Absolute bliss to be here, people are friendly. It was a massive big reunion and I saw so many of my friends that I surfed the world surfing tour with for years,” said Clark.

She said the support from everyone has been incredible and it’s been an amazing experience.
