Beach vibes and big waves at Tweni 2’s

It was a full-day of ripping surfing.

Tweni Beach was abuzz last Saturday.

Sunshine and relatively large waves saw surfers from all over KwaZulu-Natal pull in to compete for the cash prizes.

It was an action-packed day of surfing with locals and visitors watching the pros bust all the moves to impress judges.

Travis Logie and Chad du Toit stole the show and were this year’s winners.

The surfing action drew a large crowd of spectators to Tweni Beach.

Live music and DJs saw the party going on until the ‘wee hours’, with former SA Idols singer Jason Hartman and the band Half Price from Cape Town entertaining the large crowd.
