Winners of the Moringa 5000 competition at Riverside Bowling Club were Brian Scott, Wilma Smit and Ferro van Greunen.
RIVERSIDE
The club held its first Uvongo Spar sponsored bowls competition last Saturday.
Winners were Gerhard Waldeck and Jakkie Nagel. Runners-up were Mo Karani and Cobie Engelbrecht.
Third place went to Anthea Bratby and Peter McCarthy. Session prize went to Ron and Penny Weddell.

Second place went to Marjean Fensham, Marcus Steinmann and Ernie Harvard.
Third place was claimed by Luke Werth, Pauline Dunlop and Dale Riddle.
VILLAGE
Winning the Spec-Savers open trips on June 19 were Donnavon Mulder, Chris Allen and Rentia Williamson.
Runners-up were Johan Visser, Bob Lyle and Amanda Visser.
First session went to Martiens Olivier, Norman Davies and Ali Mitchell.
Second session was won by Anthony Card, Colin Gourlie and Amelia Pieterse.
MARGATE
The KT ladies’ trips last Friday was won by Noleen Morris, Avril Cannon and Barbara Marx.
Runners-up were Juanita Fourie, Ren Smuts and Fawzia Karani.
Session prize went to Annette Symes, Jeanne Gregori and Nicky Riddle. Lucky draw was won by Wanda Kitching.
Special word of thanks to young Dillon Schoeman from Riverside, who stood in for one of the players who had to leave the competition at half-time.
THE BELL
Winners of the 3rd Avenue trips were Sharolyn Dacey, Charmaine Vermeulen and Winnie James.
Runners-up were Dieter Botha, Jimmy Vaughn and Rodney (surname not known).
Third pace went to Louw Vermeulen, Jimmy Holtzhauzen and Kevin Mullen.
SOUTHBROOM
Winning the Coffee on the Square open trips on June 17 were Tiens Zietsman, Andre Malgue and Koby Ritchie.
Runners-up were Glyn Evans, Bruce Millar and Declan Sparks.
First session went to Chris Faber, Hein Bester and Denis Hodgson and the second to Jeff Cronje, Norman Davies and Louis Heystek.
TWENI
The 3rd Avenue/The Meat Joint mixed fours on June 16 was won by Justin Hinchcliff, Dumisani Madlala, Trudy Rush and Vernon Strauss.
Runners-up were Peter von Brandis, Therese Barron, Mike Schmidt and Jakkie Ackerman.
Session prize went to Tammy Gibbons, Carl Volker, Henk le Roux and Frik van Rensburg.
