Warm weather means good fishing ahead

Anglers have reported some good catches of garrick, brusher, bronze bream and blacktail, from rock and surf.

It feels like summer is finally creeping in after some cold days. With the warmer temperature, fishing conditions will settle in, and will be good for rock, surf and boat fishing.

On the deep sea side, there were reports of couta, dorado, tuna and sailfish caught, and good bottom fishing.
Reports have also surfaced that anglers are not obeying the law and are catching shad (elf) while the season is closed. It is illegal to catch or sell shad, from October 1 to November 30.
