Actress hosts inspirational high tea

The theme was 'hats and heels'.

ELEGANCE and glamour were certainly evident at Zizi’s Restaurant in Umtentweni last Saturday when a number of women gathered to enjoy a spring high tea hosted by Fundi Zwane from the hit television series Generations.

The tea was in celebration of ‘phenomenal women’ and the dress code was ‘hats and heels.’ Guest speakers included Slindile Nodangala (Ruby in Generations), Lynette Zwane (MPL, KZN Legislature) and Dr Lungile Baloyi (author of the book Umbelthisi-The Midwife).

Topics on the programme included what it means to be a praying woman, single parenting, the importance of being an educated woman, and being a woman in business. Proceeds will go to Nomthandazo Old Age Home in Izingolweni.
