ONE of the highlights of the Margate Week Bowls Tournament was its annual show, this year called ‘Magic Moments’.
The curtain went up last Friday and, judging by the comments from the audience, it was loads of fun.
South Coasters came out in droves to enjoy a good laugh.
There will be a show for the bowlers tonight (Thursday, May 8) and the final performance this Saturday (May 10) will be a fund-raiser for Margate Child Welfare.
“The show has been a tremendous success and one that the club can be very proud of,” said Yvonne Bausek of Margate Bowling Club.
“Kudos to the club for doing an exceptional job,” she said.
From the delicious meal to the well run bar and the lively entertainment, it was an evening to remember.
