Journey through the Bible

Guests enjoyed refreshments inspired by the parables.

THE women’s service group of the NG Kerk at Margate hosted a ‘walk through the Bible’ event at the community hall last Friday evening.

Guests dressed beautifully in biblical attire, and the colourful stalls portrayed the journey through the Bible.

Travellers received fruit juice served by the youth at the ‘paradise stall’, while at the ‘Noah’s Ark’ stall they were served a fish dish.

Delicious soup waited for them at ‘Esau and Jacob’s’ tent, and then bread and pate at the ‘desert of Egypt’ stall.

Salad was served at ‘Canaan stall’, which symbolised the promised land of milk and honey.

Guests then walked to ‘Solomon’s Palace’ to receive a plate of delicious potjiekos.

The Bible journey ended with guests enjoying handfuls of delicious raisins and nuts and desserts served by the church’s Pro Deo Group. FOR MORE PHOTOS, VISIT OUR GALLERY
