‘You Shook Me All Night Long’

Spring was welcomed in rocking style.

THE 1980 AC/DC signature classic ‘You shook me all night long’ certainly would have gone down well with the crowd at the Village Tavern’s Spring Razzle last Saturday evening.

The coast’s biggest local rock festival oozed great vibes and live music, with partygoers rocking and rolling under a ‘monster-size’ marquee in the Tavern’s car park.

This year’s line-up included top local bands, such as The Soundogs, Damian Pontuti, The Spiral Path, The Harkin Kings, Cindergrey, Hate Speech, and Buckshot from Durban.

Kevin Krummeck, owner of the Tavern, said it was an excellent evening, with patrons aged 18 to 60 thoroughly enjoying the music.

The rocking event even got support from upcountry visitors. “The Spring Razzle is now a popular annual event on the coast’s calendar,” he said.

Kevin said the coast had impressive and phenomenal local musical talent, and the one night a year event was also great for the economy as local contractors and additional staff were hired. FOR MORE PHOTOS, VISIT OUR GALLERY
