Bikers turn up in numbers to remember

An amount of R10 000 was raised.

A TOTAL of 80 motorcyclists took part in the annual South Coast Hospice Ride for Remembrance last Sunday.

Riders gathered early making sure that they received their badges, helium balloons and breakfast stamp. Although being slightly windy and a bit cold, it made an excellent day for helium balloons to take to the skies. A service was held in remembrance of all those who lost loved ones from cancer and vehicle accidents.

After the service, the helium balloons were released into the air and the bikers took the road to the Jolly Roger Pub, Hibberdene for a well-earned breakfast. South Coast Hospice thanks all the bikers for taking part and all sponsors for making the event a huge success. An amount of R10 000 was raised from this event.
