Where are the pointsmen?
During load-shedding we never seem to have any pointsmen on duty at busy intersections.
WHAT will it take (hopefully not a fatal crash) to get South Coast drivers to understand that when traffic lights are not working at an intersection, it must be treated as a four-way stop?
It would appear that many motorists in general and minibus taxi drivers in particular do not know what to do at such a stop.
They need to get a copy of a learner’s licence book and read the relevant section.
