PSIS hosts international speaker

The focus of Mr Baig's talk was the integration of knowledge.

PORT Shepstone Islamic School’s foundation phase show ‘Make and Tell’ was a resounding success. Parents and pupils were treated to an array of presentations on topics such as food preparation, erupting volcanoes, science, photo albums, pets, teddy bears and storytelling. This exercise encouraged confidence and helped promote good public speaking skills.

The school was honoured to host international speaker, coach and trainer Mirza Yawar Baig recently. Mr Baig shared his vast and varied international experience with pupils from grades 8 to 12. The focus of his talk was on integration of knowledge, signs and sciences in the Quranic scriptures and the imperative calling among youth to seek a purpose in life – both secular and religious.
