Margate Primary puts charity first

Gr 6 pupil Drita de Aguiar recently travelled to Durban and Johannesburg to compete in karate and returned with four medals.

MARGATE Primary has been busy collecting toys for the underprivileged for Christmas. The response has been great and the school is sure there will be many happy faces when the gifts are delivered. The school thanks all who supported this worthy cause.

Drita de Aguiar of gr 6 recently excelled in extramural activities. She travelled to both Durban and Johannesburg to compete in karate and returned with four medals. She is also an accomplished piano player and was awarded certificates for this.

The U11 cricket team played at Suid-Natal Primary last week and although they lost the game, the boys had lots of fun and showed great sportsmanship.
