The Tipsy Turtle Restaurant in Ramsgate is an exciting addition to the dining out scene.
The meals are generous and affordable and the laid-back atmosphere makes this a superb choice if you’re looking to treat the family or meet up for a relaxed meal with friends.
Choose to sit indoors or take in the ocean view from the outdoor deck. “An awesome breakfast on the deck makes this a great start to your day,” says manager Chantelle van Niekerk.
“We recently hosted a wedding reception and guests just loved the atmosphere and they raved about the food.”
The menu offers a wide range of tempting options.
“Our eisbein, which is really large, is considered one of the best on the coast,” says Chantelle.
“Other popular choices include the Portuguese chicken and, of course, the seafood. We have two phenomenal chefs who prepare really outstanding dishes,” she added.
“There is something for everyone, from snail starters to succulent steaks, combos, curries, pub meals and the kiddies’ menu is especially great value. There is also always live sport showing on our televisions.”
