Restaurant of the Week: The Waffle House

Over the years, the restaurant has turned a simple waffle into a culinary delight.

The Waffle House in Ramsgate has a reputation for serving some of the best waffles available, a reputation well-earned since it first presented a crispy Belgian waffle to a happy diner in 1957.

Over the years, the restaurant has turned a simple waffle into a culinary delight.

Forget the traditional syrup and cream (although that is available too) and try something deliciously different.

One cannot help but be tempted by the wide variety of exotic toppings, made using locally-sourced organic ingredients.

The restaurant also caters for those who are gluten intolerant, vegetarian or have special dietary needs.

The friendly and professional staff greet regular patrons by name, and the convivial surroundings are sure to entice you into sitting back and enjoying just one more cup of freshly-ground coffee.

The Waffle House is open every day from 8am to 5pm, closed only on Christmas Day.
