Suhail is tops at RA Engar

The school congratulates all awardees and bids a fond farewell to the grade sevens.

Pupils who excelled academically and on the sports field were rewarded for their efforts when R A Engar Primary held its annual awards day last Thursday.

The Sportsman of the Year award was presented to Siyanda Msomi and the Sportswoman of the Year went to Lilly Ndimeny. Andiswa Mchunu received the prestigious Good Fellowship award.

For the first time, this year grade seven pupils received subject awards.

Luyanda Mtolo and Yamkela Mhatu received the isiZulu and creative arts awards respectively, while Suhail Gyan scooped the rest, taking the English, maths, Afrikaans, technology, natural sciences, social science, EMS and life orientation awards.

Suhail also went on to clinch the coveted Dux award.
