Sleek Qashqai is pretty awesome
The new Nissan Qashqai is capable of doing just about anything.
Driving around in the new Nissan Qashqai felt so cool. With its bright blue, two-toned colour, the Qashqai was noticeable through the busy streets of Port Shepstone.
I comfortably manoeuvred around the CBD to the sounds of Informer by Snow, powered by a 10 speaker Bose sound system, while I had my back massaged. Ooh that feeling was good, I didn’t even bother about the daily concerns of bad driving, the lack of patience and rude gestures.
I was piloting around in the Nissan Qashqai 1.3 Acenta Plus Xtronic CVT selling from R670 000. The vehicle is comfortable and spacious and there’s ample leg room in the back row. This crossover SUV exceeds all expectations and ticks all the boxes, with its smart integration of the latest Nissan automotive safety tech, high level of comfort and sleek design.
It has a powerful 1.3 litre turbo 4-cylinder engine providing 110Kw and 250 Nm of torque. With responsive steering, including NissanConnect 2.0, ProPilot, Adaptive driving beams, in-built GPS and Nissan intelligent mobility this vehicle is pretty awesome.
Everything about the interior of the all-new Nissan Qashqai is advanced, modern, uplifted with plenty of safety and convenience features. Driving around in the Qashqai with my colleague, Shona Aylward, I must add that the fuel economy made us want to drive around more.
If there’s ever a family car worth considering, the new Nissan Qashqai should be at the top of your list.
