Veggie garden for Hlanganani

Learners have planted amadumbe, sweet potatoes, onions, tomatoes and potatoes.

The Green Dream Team from the Roots and Shoots programme teamed up with Green Net South Africa. Their aim together is to start up a functional flower and vegetable garden at Hlanganani Preparatory School.

The learners and volunteers started working on their vegetable garden on October 21.

They already planted amadumbe, sweet potatoes, onions, tomatoes and potatoes.

The learners have been monitoring the growth and are excited to see the outcome of their work.
Grade 2 and Grade 3 boys represented the school last Saturday, as they displayed excellent sportsmanship on and off the field.

They participated in a thrilling mini-cricket tournament which took place at Suid-Natal Primary.
Well done to all learners and committed coaches for flying the Hlanganani flag high.
