Toti goes for club rugby glory
Get behind Toti 1sts as they take on national club champs.

Toti rugby fans get ready for the match of the season this Saturday – and it’s at Toti Rugby Club.
Toti take on national club champions, College Rovers in the first qualifying round of the Castle Lager Murray Cup at 2.30pm.
This after they were crowned provincial club champs following the defense of their title with a 26-20 win over Northern KZN section winners Piet Retief at Kings Park on Friday afternoon.
“This will be a cracker of a match and it is billed as the game of the weekend by the KZN Rugby Union. Rovers play UK side Saracens on Wednesday, so hopefully they will suffer one or two injuries,” said club chairman, Peter Zulch.
“It’s going to be a hard match, but Toti will give them the best match out of all the first division teams,” said coach, Jeff Harper, who played and coached at College Rovers for many years.
“I’ve had lots of highlights at Toti rugby, but to win this would definitely be my crowning achievement.
I know how to combat their style of play. We need to not commit too many players to the breakdowns and rucks, we need to have a tight defence and not get caught out wide.
Toti is known for supporting their team, so we would love for everyone to get behind the guys with lots of vocal support.”
