Spar Superstars SCS 2026

TO HEAR their voice on the radio is a dream for many, but for budding Grade 12 poet, Tumie Ndelu, this recently became a reality. He was featured on Ukhozi FM. Tumie recited a gut-wrenching poem that deals with the pain of losing both parents.

GRADE 12 learner, Nomonde Zulu, has been awarded for her outstanding academic performance in Term 1. She achieved an exceptional 94% average along with an impressive seven distinctions in her subjects.

GRADE 11 learner, Jedidiah Muthu, stood out among his peers with an excellent 93% aggregate so far this year. He is a mentor to his classmates and continues

GRADE 10 learner and pageant princess, Grace Turner won Miss Teen Universe KZN, breaking through a streak of second places with resilience and determination. She used her platform to create an initiative supporting sick children by donating Teddy bears.

SENATHI Mseleku is a talented rugby player. The grade 7 learner made it through to the Upper South Coast rugby trials in addition to making the Southern KZN team with his strong displays of skill. He hopes to keep improving as a player.

KALLEN Visser packs a mean punch and kick. This was proven when the Grade 5 learner competed in the JKA KZN Provincial Championships, where
he won a medal and qualified to represent KZN at the South African JKA National Championships.

SOCCER star-in-the-making, grade 5 learner, Ndalwenhle Melane, was selected to be a part of Dragon Football Club’s 36-man team set to compete at the upcoming Cape Town Super 7s tournament. He is currently training for his matches.

FRANCOIS Schuch, was recently included in the KZN youth mixed martial arts team that is going to compete in the national championships
in April. The Grade
5 learner also does mountain biking and public speaking.
