GREEN-Thumbed matric learner, Aarushi Bhoora, is a 1st Umbogintwini Scout. She spearheaded a project to rid the Amanzimtoti Japanese Gardens of the invasive Kariba weed, which is polluting the pond.

AFTER a two-year break from the sport, a Grade 10 karateka has continued her journey in the sport, having achieved her South African colours at the recent South African Japanese Karate Association Championships.

GRADE 8 learner, Lisann January, was chosen as a model for a pre-Durban July Fashion Gala, which was a prelude to the annual Durban July Handicap. The learner was chosen among hundreds of other for models.

SAMUKELISIWE Memela came tops in the previous term and obtained first position in her class. The Grade 11 learner is aiming to keep the momentum until the final examinations as she eyes Grade 12
next year.

ANDILE Shoba is a Grade 6 learner that takes his studies seriously. In the first and second terms, he achieved the highest marks in his grade, making him a shining example to his peers. He plans to keep the momentum going.

ENKOSI Mkhize was selected into the KZN Impi Touch Rugby Association squad for the Junior Inter-Provincial Tournament which will take place in Gauteng from September 26 to 28. Excelling in multiple sporting codes comes naturally for Enkosi.

After placing 2nd in KZN for line dancing, Grade 2 learner, Chloe Botes went on to achieve fourth place at the South African Line Dancing Masters. She is officially fourth in the country for her age division.

GRADE 5 learner, Kyle Matanda made his school proud when competed in the eThekwini Municipality Road Safety Poetry and Speech Competition. He competed in the speech category, showing off his public speaking skills.
