Babes in bandanas to aid Sunflower Fund
The funky Sunflower Bandana is available in six bright and trendy colours from any Pick n Pay store or Round Table nationwide.

THE Sunflower Fund launches its first Bandana Baby and Toddler competition, which runs until Saturday, 12 October.
The Fund encourages parents to take a close-up head and shoulders photo of their little one wearing the latest Sunflower Bandana, pay a nominal entry fee of R50 and visit www.sunflowerfund.org.za to enter.
The photo will be uploaded onto the Sunflower Fund’s website and at the end of the competition, the public will get to vote for their favourite Bandana Baby and or toddler photo. The photo with the most votes in each category will walk away with some amazing prizes. The categories are 0 to two-years-old for babies and three to five-years-old for toddlers.
The funky Sunflower Bandana is available in six bright and trendy colours from any Pick n Pay store or Round Table nationwide. Operations manager at the Sunflower Fund, Tarryn Corlett-Boden, said: “We really wanted to ensure the entire family, young and old, could show their support to all our leukaemia patients, many of whom are children. We launched the Bandana Baby and Toddler competition alongside our National Bandana Day campaign to show support to our brave young patients who lose their hair during chemotherapy treatments.”
National Bandana Day is the biggest annual fundraiser and all the money raised goes towards recruiting more bone marrow stem cell donors for inclusion on the South African Bone Marrow Registry and to tissue-type each blood sample to the improved molecular (DNA) level at a cost of R2,000.
