Snow news is good news for KZN

Snow watchers take note – KZN’s Sani Pass may be in for some snowfall this weekend, according to the latest Snow Report post.

The Snow Report’s Facebook page reports that Sani Pass area in KZN may experience a little snow on Saturday night, following snowfalls expected in parts of the Western Cape. Since the weather maps have been so changeable with regards to this, there are no firm guarantees however.
Snow fall was expected to begin in the early hours of Friday morning and fall consistently throughout the day in mountainous, high lying reaches of the Western Cape, with Calvinia and Sutherland receiving light snow fall later in the morning, likely into the afternoon.

Saturday morning there is more snow indicated for the Worcester, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Matroosberg area ending by midday. Saturday night is earmarked for snow in the Sani Pass area.
