Book teams for Toti Relay for life

Cancer survivors and their caregivers are invited to the survivors dinner from 4pm.

There is only one week left for you to book your teams for this year’s Relay For Life at Kingsway High School on 20 and 21 September

“The committee thanks the local community, as once again we have had an amazing response,” said media liaison for Toti, Errol Theron. “The Relay for Life has always been about celebrating, remembering and fighting back.”

If you are keen to join in, but cannot make up a team, contact Diane at the Cansa office on 039-682-7680 or email dsaunders@cansa.org.za and she will put you in a team. Each team consists of between 10 and 15 people, with a team captain who will guide you through the event.

“We invite cancer survivors and their caregivers to join us at the Cansa Relay for Life survivors dinner from 4pm for the handout of goodies, so give your names to Diane as soon as possible,” said Errol.

“The school’s bottom gate to the sports fields will be open from noon on the Saturday and we encourage you to arrive and put up your tents early to have ample time and to avoid the expected traffic congestion.”

The official opening ceremony will start at 5pm sharp and the entrance fee is R5 per vehicle.

To enter your teams, contact the Cansa office or Michelle Careless on 072-119-8802 or Errol and Sharon-Ann Theron on 083-312-5360 or email errolandsharon@skytec.co.za.
