Attention

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, the thieves are on the way, oh what fun it is to have to hide your stuff away...

Seriously though, its that time of year again….

1. Dont leave any valuables in your car, whatsoever – my friend even had a packet of meat worth R1800 stolen from his boot in Florida Rd.

2. Make an effort to lock your car doors with the key or at least check it”s closed properly. Car ‘remote-jamming’ is on the increase…

3. Try not to use any ATMs at all..get to learn the procedure for getting money with purchases from the major chainstores….

4. People being ‘bumped’ and having their purses/wallets and phones etc stolen in shopping centres seems to be on the increase….they are working in gangs…keep your things well hidden and out of sight of these ‘bag dippers’…

5. Dodgy car guards are becoming an issue again..give only to the familiar ones or ones you trust…let”s not encourage drunken or abusive car guards and/or ‘look-outs’ for the robbers…

Cheers… Stay safe…
