A Toti motorist was assaulted during a hijacking in Louis Botha Road on Tuesday night, 20 January.
Blue Security operations manager, Brian Jackson said the hijacking was the third such incident in the Toti area over the past week, following an attempted hijacking in Burne Road in Athlone Park on Sunday and one in Eland Road on Friday night.
The latest incident occurred just before 8.30pm.
“Hijackers assaulted the motorist with the butt of a firearm and fled in his white VW Polo, taking his home keys and cellphone,” he said.
Toti SAPS and trauma counsellors attended the scene.
