TWO men were injured in an accident on the southbound lane of the N2 between Umgababa and Umkomaas earlier this morning, 10 February.

“Exact detail is still speculative, however both vehicles were travelling south when one collided into the other. The vehicles veered out of control, off the highway, up an embankment and came to rest about 70m apart,” said Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Chris Botha.

“Netcare 911 and provincial paramedics found both drivers on the side of the road. After they were treated, they were taken to hospital.”
