Tourism chairman gives back on his birthday

Through a 'Birthday Act of Kindness' (BACK).

HAVING turned 35-years-old today (Friday, 10 April), Sapphire Coast Toti Tourism chairman, Jacques van Schalkwyk is giving back through a ‘Birthday Act of Kindness (BACK), similar to a RAK nomination (Random Act of Kindness).

“With there being a blood shortage currently, I decided to donate a pint of blood.” As he is 35, he will also attempt to get the same number of people to donate blood.

Jacques challenges others celebrating birthdays to also do something similar, it need not be donating blood, it can be any act of kindness such as planting a tree.

However, if you want to donate blood, the South African National Blood Service is holding a clinic today until 6pm in the activities room at Toti library.
