Ten injured as taxi rolls on N2 at Toti
Traffic gridlocks as emergency services work to extricate the injured.

TEN people were injured and traffic came to a standstill when a minibus taxi overturned on the N2 at Amanzimtoti on Sunday morning, 26 April.
Reports from the scene indicate the minibus was travelling northbound when the vehicle overturned, rolled several times and came to a standstill on the southbound lanes of the N2.
Traffic was severely affected as emergency services worked to extricate entrapped occupants of the vehicles.
Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found five people sustained serious injuries while another five sustained minor to moderate injuries in the accident.
According to Netcare 911’s Sani Steinmann, the injured were stabilised and transported to hospital.
Police will probe the cause of the accident.
