CCPO patrol vehicle gets revamped

We value their support in our efforts to combat crime in Toti.

The Community Crime Prevention Organisation’s (CCPO) fight against crime continues to be supported by an Amanzimtoti-based car dealership.

The Datsun Go vehicle sponsored by Mark White Nissan Amanzimtoti in December received an upgrade with new mag wheels and a rear spoiler fitted. The revamped vehicle was handed over on Friday, 19 June.

Dealer principal, Erwin Vermaak said it is all about the safety of Toti residents.

“This is a little contribution to help the CCPO continue its fight against crime in our area,” he said. “We are a community-driven company. Toti people buy and service their cars with us, so this is one way we can give back to the community.”

CCPO operations manager, Leon Joone was grateful for the continued support.

“We really appreciate this offer from them and we value their support in our efforts to combat crime in the Toti area,” said Leon.

“This vehicle will be used for those purposes and it is great to have local companies on board supporting the efforts of the CCPO.”
