STAFF of Galleria Mall spent Mandela Day at Ivangeli Leqiniso, a disadvantaged and underprivileged community in KwaMakhutha.
The management team, with sponsors Pick n Pay Arbour Crossing and Galaxy Grill, handed out meals to 100 recipients. They each received a quarter chicken with chips and a roll, cheese and ham sandwiches and a cool drink. The community ululated and sang in praise as the meals were dished out.
Galleria Mall’s mascot, Penguin Fundiswa entertained the children and handed out goodie bags. They received a draw string bag that included a T-shirt, raincoat, pen, chips, chocolate, fizzer, popcorn and juice.
