Creche needs your help

Donations can be dropped off at the councillor's office at 423 Kingsway.

There are a number of community-initiated projects being driven in ward 97 and surrounding areas as part of social responsibility.

One that currently needs support is a crèche in neighbouring Bhekulwandle, where 33 children are being facilitated and a community garden is being established.

The group spearheading the project wish to remain anonymous.

“They need camping cots, toys, chalk boards, chalk, nappies, retainer blocks, cement, baby and children’s clothing, any vegetable seeds, compost and soil” said ward 97 councillor, Andre Beetge, speaking on their behalf.

Donations can be dropped off at the councillor’s office at 423 Kingsway.

Enquiries can be directed to Cllr Andre Beetge on 082-718-8137.
