Tremor felt across Durban
ER24 reportedly tweeted that a 3.1 magnitude earth tremor hits Durban and surroundings.
Durban was struck by tremor at about 11am this morning, which was felt as far afield as Durban’s Berea and Hillcrest.
Social media users across the city headed online to check whether it was indeed a tremor that they had felt.
It appears we had a light earth tremor across Durban just now. Felt from Amanzimtoti to Phoenix and inland by Pinetown.

Homes in Athlone Park’s Wavecrest Road shook, with reports of buildings as well as household contents rattling for a few seconds.
