Pitbull bites into fleeing robber [NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS]

It is believed he had jumped into a yard with three pitbulls.

A pitbull dog did not take kindly to a robber using his yard as a getaway route and bit off a chunk of his head in Isipingo Hills on Monday, 7 March.

According to Alpha Alarms communications officer, Krishnee Naidoo, a client called just after 2pm to say a man was seen fleeing and jumped into the yards of a few houses on Parbhoo Hargovan Road.

“A response officer responded to the location and found the man bleeding profusely,” she said. “It is believed he had jumped into a yard with three pitbulls. One of the dogs did not appreciate the intrusion and attacked him.”

The homeowners managed to restrain the dog and the response officer waited with the bleeding suspect until police arrived.
