Memorable holiday donations made
Donations of pony riding, tenpin bowling, movie tickets or restaurant outings will still be appreciated

THE Toti public and businesses have come out in full force to help make a group of 12 abused children’s seaside holiday a memorable one.
Happy Days holiday flats is hosting the group, which has now grown to 14 children aged between 12 and 18 years and two adults, for a week-long holiday in the first week of July.
Sapphire Coast Tourism (SCT) appealed to residents and businesses to donate vouchers or services which would allow the children to enjoy their time in Amanzimtoti. For many of the children, this will be their first visit to the sea.
The following sponsors have come on board to date: Cooee, Funland, RJ’s and Dolphin Bowl, Nando’s, Nu Metro Galleria, Gavin Stockden doing a magic show, Debonairs, Learn 2 Surf by Wesley Smith of Surfing Unlimited, Splash Waterworld, Gary’s Horses, Andrea Visser will sponsor a day at Mitchell’s Park Zoo, Toti Ranch, The Fun Company at Galleria, Epic Karting at Galleria, beach management, Giselle’s Kitchen, Galleria Ice Rink, Jacques van Schalkwyk will sponsor popcorn and SCT will assist with embroidery on beach towels for the children.
“There have been a few other meal and sweets donations forthcoming from donors who prefer to remain anonymous,” said Happy Days manager, Louise Oosthuysen.
“We are preparing a welcome bag for the girls and thank Classic Amusement for the discounted price on beach balls and Linen Direct for the discounted beach towels for them.
Together with Sapphire Coast Tourism we thank every one of these sponsors for their willingness to assist in this opportunity to give the children something to remember from their holiday in Amanzimtoti.
Donations of pony riding, tenpin bowling, movie tickets or restaurant outings will still be appreciated.”
