Co-op graduates stitch up their training

All training is done for free as part of Beauty's social development programme.

GRADUATES at the Perfect Shelter Primary Co-Op were presented with certificates for completing upholstering, furniture and sewing training with founder Beauty Ndlele at her Bhekulwandle premises on Friday, 8 July.

The 18 graduates who participated in the programme from 9 May to 7 July will continue with training. “Our graduates will now be trained in business. Their training is ongoing. Some of them are unemployed and some are still in school,” said Beauty, who has been involved in training since 1999. “We teach widows how to make furniture and bedding, and how to sew as well. We have been doing upholstering for four years and fashion design for 10 years.”

All training is done for free as part of Beauty’s social development programme. If you can assist in any way, contact her on 083-593-1570.
