Artists gain gallery space

The gallery will be open daily from 9am to 4pm and on Saturday mornings.

Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) will open an art gallery on Monday, 16 January.

“This incredible venue is on the first floor of Toti Oasis, on the corner of Kingsway and Beach Road,” said USCAA chairman, Patricia McCann.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our artists to expose their talent and promote the association, and we appreciate this very generous offer of assistance from Mr Hansa.”

All local artists concentrate on fine arts and there will be a variety of subjects on display, such as landscapes, floral, portraits, wildlife, abstract art and seascapes, which means something for everybody.

There will also be artist cards for sale.

The gallery will be open daily from 9am to 4pm and on Saturday mornings.

“We hope to offer art classes and workshops at the gallery,” said Patricia.

“The venue is ideal and it has the most incredible views. There is plenty of parking and we look forward to meeting our community members when they pop in to support us.”
