Leading SA artist to impart her skills to USCAA

The drawing session will begin at 9am and end approximately noon.

A LEADING South African artist will share her skills in oils and acrylics in a demo at the Upper South Coast Art Association May meeting in the activities hall of Amanzimtoti library on Saturday, 20 May.

The meeting will begin at 1.30pm and end at about 4pm.

Refreshments will be supplied for a small fee.

Diane Erasmus is one of South Africa’s leading artists in oils and acrylics. Anyone serious in learning how to paint skillfully should attend her session at the meeting. The afternoon meeting will be preceded by a drawing session, which is open to the public at no charge.

The drawing session will begin at 9am and end at about noon. The exercise will be on perspective. Take along a cup and saucer (for drawing purposes), sharp pencils (both hard and soft), colouring pencils, a ruler, eraser and a picture from a newspaper or magazine which shows perspective. Ensure you have the appropriate paper to work on, as well as rough paper for warming up exercises and rough work.
