Home invaders storm Isipingo home

They ransacked the house, taking various items before they fled on foot.

Five robbers stormed an Isipingo Beach residence on Friday, 1 December and fled with an unconfirmed number of items.

The occupants were left traumatised when Alpha Alarms and Isipingo Beach CPF members responded. “It is believed the resident was attending to a beggar at the gate when five men jumped over the wall,” said Alpha Alarms communications officer, Krishnee Naidoo.

They forced the beggar and resident into the house and demanded to know the location of the safe, to which the resident replied there was none. They ransacked the house, taking various items before they fled on foot. It is suspected a vehicle was waiting for them.

Residents are urged to be vigilant and beef-up their security.
