Step up and support fundraiser for cancer patient
All funds raised will go towards Samkelo Mzobe's medical bills.
A fundraiser walk for cancer sufferer Samkelo Mzobe (16) takes place on Toti promenade on Saturday, 2 March. The Amanzimtoti community can help raise funds to cover the costs for Sam’s medical management and treatment. That includes an initial PET CT scan, which costs about R33,000, and a good prosthesis.
Taking part in the walk will help raise those funds. The entry fee is R30 per person or a donation. Registration takes place outside the beach office at Toti Main Beach at 9.30am, with the walk at 10am. “Take your own water and sunblock and if possible wear white for lung cancer,” said Heather Tait, who is spearheading the fundraising. “All funds raised will go towards Sam’s medical expenses.”
