UPDATE: Galleria MX Park open for riders, supporters this weekend

The Galleria MX Park will be open to motocross enthusiasts, families and friends this Saturday, 13 July.

Contrary to this week’s article in the Sun, stating that the track’s development is still underway, the Galleria MX Park will be open to motocross enthusiasts, families and friends this Saturday, 13 July.

“Come down this Saturday morning with the family and enjoy the new motocross track along Arbour Road, next to Galleria Mall,” said the club on its Facebook page.

Open from 8:30am, an entrance fee of R100 per bike (spectators enter for free) will see riders permitted to ride the newly built local track for the day. All motocross riders are to sign an indemnity form on arrival.

There will be wors rolls, cold drinks and water for sale. Toilets will be available on the premises. There will be a view point, a bike spares table and music, ensuring a great day is enjoyed by all.

Spectators are reminded to take along an umbrella or gazebo, and chairs.

There is additional parking at Galleria Mall, only a short distance from the track, for spectators, if the park’s lot gets full.

All funds raised on the day will go towards the upkeep, repair and future development of the facility, ensuring it continued existence and growth.

If interested in becoming a club member, ask around on the day or alternatively email galleriamx@gmail.com for further information.
