Young pageant queen makes generous donations
She thanks everyone who made the event a success
A 13-year-old Kuswag Skool learner, Melize du Plessis, hosted her second annual beauty pageant, SpringXplosion on Saturday, 7 September, at Funland Entertainment Centre in Amanzimtoti.
Her chosen beneficiaries this year were Warnadoone Nippers and Amanzimtoti SPCA. Melize, with hosting this pageant and with a generous cash donation from Borman Duma Zitha Attorneys in Johannesburg, managed to collect R6 500, which was divided and handed over to the two beneficiaries.
She thanks everyone who made the event a success, with special thanks to Borman Duma Zitha Attorneys for their contribution, as well Neels du Toit, Kashiefa Swart and John Short of Funland who sponsored the venue and assisted at the function.
